It's odd that in one of Garett's posts he mentions that final name isn't going to be 'Google Music', but either 'Google Tunes' or 'GMusic'. If this is true, doesn't it seem a little odd that they have added '/music' to their robots.txt?

I think we should call Garett Googe Robots.txt.

for all you people :
Google hasnt launch any kind of a music service till today.. (or a few days from now) is because Sergey Brin doesnt listen to music very often..
thats why they didnt launch anything like that..

couldnt find it..
any way..
i dont know about Larry Page but Sergey Brin barely listens to music.
and if youve read the book: "The Search" By John Battelle (http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/10170000/10175193.jpg)
(Book Review – http://www.deitel.com/articles/bookreviews/20050923/TheSearchByJohnBattelle.html)
you would have seen that Google listen to its founders no just the CEO..
and if Sergey Brin doesnt love msuic so much then Google wont provide a music service.

Google Video player.exe

Reason for Downloading and having the buzz of new tools is by answering the needs, just like today Pearl Jam Life Wasted was offered for FREE until next wednseday only to give people ability to download it, discover google video player (because in this google video player you can search by thumbnails or videos and play it easier than any other tool in the market)

Good point Splasho. But to start with it was gmail.google.com and then after the UK legal matter all names like that changed to mail.google.com

William / David: That's an old Google Music Search – it's been around for a while now.

e.g. http://www.google.com/musicsearch?q=michael+jackson
