Here are some screenshots of yet another interface design test of the Google homepage.
They've added a tab for 'Google Video' and both the tabs for 'Groups' and 'Froogle' are out.

The "more >>" link has also changed. When clikcking on it you get a small pop-up menu that let's you choose between Books, Froogle, Groups and Scholar.

After removing my cookies, everything went back to how it used to be |
I'm still getting the old version. |
So, you shouldn't remove your cookies... ;-) |
I don't think this will last, but Froogle <-> Google Video is likely. |
i dont really use the tabs..
and im getting the old version too.. :/ |
David, something like 99.999% are probably getting the old version right now... these prototypes are always only showing for a very small fraction of users. |
Looks ace. I can't wait till this sort of ingenuity reaches the Usenet! |
A little more javascript added to the homepage
Koen, Windows Media Player is so lame :P |
The layout looks good and still feels unclutered :D |
I jump between "Web" and "Groups" constantly when looking for programming info, and this change is positively driving me nuts. |
