Our Swiss national TV uses Google Earth to display location around the world. You always see the white "Goo" on the lower right corner.
And a Swiss newspaper uses Google Maps on their webpage to show the locations of the news. |
And "France 2", a public/national French TV uses Google Earth too ;) But without the "Google" logo at the bottom. |
CNN International does it too... we get it on cable. Plus, our first and second German states channel do it (dunno which one, but I noticed it on either ARD or ZDF). There's also the Google logo when they zoom in with earth. I was surprised when I saw these the first time, figuring "what, they didn't have this kind of technology before?" |
I can confirm that Channel 2 news in Israel uses it. I remember they used it during the last Lebenese war and had some kinda of bug and then said that their technicians are working on improving their map system...can't be too legal. |
