I am SO GLAD Google is putting multivariate landing page testing (somewhat) easily in the hands of advertisers. I say somewhat because IMO it's still going to be a bit of a learning curve for advertisers to understand how to set up the coded pages, add the variations of elements, and grok the huge amounts of data that Google will in turn supply to the advertiser. But I'm happy to see that they provide easily summarized data too. (saw it in the demo)
Still, it's definitely time that marketers, even the small guys, get educated on this, and have easy access to refining their campaign results beyond just keyword bidding and copy tweaking. Kudos to Google for taking the step to provide this education and ability to refine LPs! |
