Looks like I just got a sneak peak at some new stuff / internal only links:

It's gone back to normal though now. Weird, eh?

Weird indeed. A couple of weeks back I was adding a calendar event via a weblink and saw a strange interface change, but forgot to take a screen-grab and it only appeared once.
On the input form, just under 'location' there was a link for 'Check resources / availability'. Has anyone seen that before?
It strikes me that we may soon have the ability to add resources (like conference rooms or projectors) to calendars much like people, and schedule their use. That would be cool.
It's been a while since the last calendar update – maybe one's due? |

seems that the log file was maintained by "aarati" – is that a person or a systems code ?

They pulled which file? The page was never openly available at http://www.google.com/calendar/changes – I found a way around it though.
Visible only to Google Internal IPs? Nope. ;-) |

Can anyone explain – I still haven't understood – what Gaia is in Google-speak? Is it some earth- or galaxy-wide unique surfer ID?
Tony: this is a GREAT find. |

On the aarati question, well googled, /pd. (Sorry, Googled.) Check out this paper by aarati:
http://www-formal.stanford.edu/aarati/papers/SS603AParmar.pdf
The only English words in this paper I really understood were "planning" and "progress". It looks ike Dr Aarati Martino, ex-Stanford PhD, specialized in her papers on such things as how to manage efficient planning. No wonder she's working on Google's Calendar. There's a nice diagram of "kitchen cleaning" which includes, complicatedly labelled, "counters", "sink", "stove", "floor", "fridge", "garbage".
I suspect that there's no area of our lives that she isn't going to organize. |

Thanks for that Photoactive, Yes, she's seems to be organizing the logical planning of every day life :)-
Tony: what I am seeing is in direct compitetion with upcoming.org!! another Great find!!
This space is heating up.. pity me will be offline soon :(-

Yes, but keep always the question. Users needs the best calendar functionality and the Everywhere Anytime accessibility (papers, phone, ipod, pc, games, psp, xbox, audio, sms, etc..)
Users do not need to end up with 5 formats of daily planning.
Google give us this solution. |

I think Google are playing games with me now. I got this again today... |

...or maybe your IP is really one Google Internal IP
:P |

// display Google page – by aarati
If (isInternal(ip) || (isTony() && random() >= 50)) { showSecretStuff(); } |

Heh. |

I'm really wondering how Tony can view theses pages. Spoofing IP? User-agent? Hacking the "moma" (google corporate network)? Did he steal the password of a googler? I'm sure he will not reveal his secret (which helps him to discover Google's secrets), but Tony, you're really the best :) |
