4th LAw – A robot must activate its red LED when enforcing the First, Second, or Third Law!! |
LOL /pd
how can such laws be enforced!?! these laws leave no room for improvements upon existing robots or may limit creativity... after all, infringement may be a bad thing but it helps to break through barriers and rediscover new methods. But now i'm reminded that laws are broken and bent anyhow. |
5th Law: Robots may NOT harm, embaress, humiliate, steal or kill humans. |
Philipp, you can seriously draw. Do it! |
I think I also read "unfortunalty there was no lobby for anything else"!!
so me is lobbying for a 4th law :)_ |
PS I guess the others haven't read Isaac Asimov. It's a very good post. |
Philipp, you remind of a movie "I ROBOT" 7th law A robot shall never become a Big Brother |
It's a pity that people are preferring the horrible Hollywood adaptations to the reading of the real stories (by Asimov in this case) nowdays...
|
Kmike, actaully if you follow the Robot Series of I.Asimov it ends on Gaia. R. Daneel Olivaw formulates the Zeroth Law of Robtics which superceeds the 3 former laws.
BTW ,Gaia is partly embedded in Google Services :)-
"Also go ahead and index subscriptions on calendar's [gaiaid,] not [GaiaPrincipal], as well as subscriber id. (smaller)"

8th Law
If the robot failed to follow any of the above law then it should be auto destructed,,,,,,, |

Fourth law: respect robots.txt Fifth law: never use Google as a verb |
