Google have just added the following to the UK "More" page:
* Google Mail * Docs & Spreadsheets * Talk
http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/options/
I had just assumed this wasn't getting updated anymore since it's so out of date when compared to this one:
http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/
Why would they maintain two separate layouts like this for the US and UK? |
God, an update! I didn't see that one coming! |
What's the difference between a service and a tool in this instance? |
why Google D&S is in the French version of this page, but not Gmail? Gmail is open and available in French... |
I don't understand why people use other Google than Google.com. |

Personally, I like to select the "pages from the UK" option when I'm searching for restaurants, bands, places, etc. It's generally quite good at showing me just UK stuff and much more reliable that just using the site:.uk operator (for example). |
Is there any censorship on Google.co.uk? (I mean other than globally censored stuff.) |
I've never seen anything to suggest they're censoring stuff. |
I often use Google.com, but Google.de is better for finding German stuff, of course. I also don't understand the difference between com and co.uk. |
Timo: Like Google.de is better for finding German stuff, co.uk is better for finding stuff in England. |
