Full movies have been available on Google Video for a long time. Its just a matter of searching for particular actors or movie titles to find them. I spent a couple of minutes and found 3 movies. The quality of these films are so bad I don't see how anybody would sit and watch an hour and a half movie on Google video.

Jet Li – Tai Chi Masters

Ju On 2 – Grudge 2 (Japanese Version – English Captions)

After more digging, Google Video does offer some movies for free that were meant to be on Google Video.

Its a Wonderful Life

I also found a blog that has a big list of old movies that are in Google Video. You can watch the movie directly from the blog if you like. I've never heard of any of these movies but maybe some of you have.

It was quite good quality, too.

Cars wasn't up for long though. They pulled that movie at the end of a weekend because the video link ended up on Digg and Google found out about it right away. Plus that probably doesn't look good for Google when the CEO is on the Apple Board and Apple's CEO used to own Pixar who created the movie.

[Update: As was to be expected, the videos have been removed now that the news broke.]

Crank can also be found by searching on "knarc" (Crank spelled backwards).

Cough-cough. Shouldn't movies like Butterfly Effect 2 and Naked Gun 3 be HAPPY to be watched by anyone? I understand being ticked if Spider-man 3 is on there the day before its official launch, but can't the studios come up with a plan for crap, I mean quality movies, like BE2 and NG3?
