Philipp,

May be you can put those forum contributors' blog/homepage in a single page. If you think this will increase their pagerank, may be you could put nofollow on the page. What do you think?

Can you explain what you mean Pokemo?
By the way, I excluded profile pages from indexing because some people complained the profile page was outranking their homepage, and of course that's not useful...

A bit off topic:

If you allow a link back to the posters' sites, then the readers may visit the posters' site/blog. Frankly, i dont even know /pd's site/blog.

The profile page takes the top result in Google for their name. (Sometimes if the person is a regular and the result page doesn't match well I also tweak manually.) Example, click on "Peter Dawson" when you're on this page:

What I really wanted to avoid is you having to enter your name, email AND homepage when you want to comment, like many blogs require... I want to keep it simple so you can quickly comment without having to type too much stuff.

="Frankly, i dont even know /pd's site/blog."

Just google ""Peter Dawson" (aka – /pd) :)-

I agree with Philipp – less is more.. KISS is best!!
