is this not the case of mymaps that are flagged as public being aggregated and when there are coordinate lockin, then the content can be flipped over to map results ?

I dont see a problem with user created content flowing thru into maps results.. that is as long as mymap is public status

I just noticed that map takes your last web search term and generates a map of that term when you open a new map ..

is this new ?

Yeah, I think TOMHTML is right about this being out since MyMaps was launched. I remember seeing that link when I was playing around with my first user created map.

Yay.. There's great data Google Earth communities and this is a great improvement.

Now, if only they fix their routing algorithms, that seem brain dead, when used for directions. Really messed up algo for sure. Worse than mapquest and yahoo algo.
