Since yesterday Google at my computer turned back to old desihn, I mean to the blue bar above results instead of the new shaded border. What about you?

maybe you've a non-English version of Google?

I´m from Czechia but using google.com and English interface. Links on the top are present, just the bar changed. Maybe reverse Google design test. :-)

Clear cookies and go to www.google.com/ncr

I see the old Gmail bar again.

I see the "new" design. Try doing what Daniel Garcia sugests, maybe it works :)

I see the "new" one only on Google.comnot .i, .co.uk etc and don't get Universal Search on either.
