Google sucks up domains like none other, and sufficiently to the point where Google registering a domain means absolutely nothing. For example, they have had gbrowser.com for over two years now. Despite this, I seriously doubt google will ever release a web browser since they are essentially actively funding both Opera and Mozilla (via browser search bar searches).
I personally think that at some point Google will offer personalized Google start pages for companies, since this is a fairly logically path for Google to take, not because they registered a couple of domain names. |
Channel partners are different from hosted pages!!
/ig/dell is a hosted service.. on google.com servers... I wonder why :)-
|
/pd: Because DELL (and others) doesn't have to take (technical) care of their pages and bandwidth.
It doesn't cost much effort from Google to keep /ig/dell |
Check this one Uncle Sam (US govt) – www.google.com/ig/usgov
