This is somewhat creepy but has extreme potential. I may have missed this being discussed earlier, but apparently your search history now saves your music (from Google Talk) in addition to the data being added to Music Trends. That has incredible potential.

It's here since the launch of Google Music Trends ;-)

Can one of you take a screen shot so I can see what this looks like when populated with data? I have a Mac, so I can't run Google Talk, and it won't save my music history.
Thanks! |
Thanks NateDawg. Dang, now I wish it worked with iChat and iTunes. Oh well, at least I have http://www.musicmobs.com/ |
My music history doesn't store in my search history. Is anyone else having this problem? |

photoactive
<quote> The first step is to download and install Google Talk, if you haven't done so already. You can then opt in to Music Trends from Google Talk's Settings menu (learn more). After that, anytime you share your music status using iTunes ® , Winamp, Windows Media ® Player, or Yahoo Music Engine ™ , you'll be voting on Google Music Trends. </quote>

itunes. I'll try again now, but songs I was playing yesterday (I think it was yesterday) don't show up in Search History (though Google Talk was on and showing the tracks). I guess it was a temporary glitch. |
