I just saw this line in Timblog’s referer log:
https://www.google.com/evaluation/search/rating/task-edit?task=XXXXXX
The page gives a 403, saying that my Google account is not a member of "EWOQ". Has anyone else seen this? |
Timblog may have stumbled upon something good here. I've never seen this URL matched to other data people have provided in the past of Google's secret evaluation labs.

Also known as "Google Eval" or "Rater Google Hub" We was talking about that in June 2005. |
A slashdot story from June 2005 contains links to sites offering screenshots: http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/01/1532216&tid=217 |
Ah, guess I'm a couple of years late, then. Especially since that slashdot article had a link to a post in webmasterworld, talking about this in 2003.
Thanks for updating me! |
And I forget to say "Thank you, Tim", because I didn't know the URL https://www.google.com/evaluation... ;) |
So Google no longer has the policy "Don't be Eval" :-) |
But you have to understand that Google Eval was revealed in '03-'04 with the URL eval.google.com ... TimBlog shows us that there is another URL that redirects to Google Eval and wasn't discussed or found before.
Tony Ruscoe, hopefully you can fire-up them monster scripts of yours and have them search for something deep within the new URL TimBlog found.
