I noticed that google changed their "loading" thing. It used to be a labs tube with some bubbles. Is that new ? Do you noticed other changes ?

Sorry for the second post but there are other things :

You can now hide the left "navigation menu" :

Or acces it with a new drop menu that float over other elements :

As strange as it seems, this new interface doesn't work if you have Google Gears Plugin installed in your browser.

Using Firefox without Google Gears, I'm not seeing that new interface (from the US). Maybe they're just testing it out or rolling it out gradually. If it's the latter, I imagine they'll post something on the Google Reader blog:

Nice... I'm thinking about coming back to Firefox, Google Reader and all that stuff. But Opera is ok by now...

I don't see these things. Maybe a GreaseMonkey script?

IMHO, the "all items" interface is perfect for me, but the "manage subscriptions" interface sucks a lot. Really.

I can confirm, I was getting this at home this morning (FireFox and IE7 – no Greasemonkey scripts).

It went back to the old interface after about 30mins and now at work I get the old one.

Maybe they're finally going to take it out of Labs, hence the removal of the Labs-style loading icon. Google Labs actually already lists it as having graduated: http://labs.google.com

I know that the hiding feature is not new (shortcut: U key), not sure about the loading indicator though. (new to me)

[put at-character here]TOMHTML : you should know that I only use Greasemonkey scripts on 1st April to make you creasy about my gmail interface!

Now the feature is no more in my Reader interface.

[put at-character here]PierreS Thanks, I use Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty with "desktop-effect" (compiz), my 2 years old computer is faster than with XP even with the 3D desktop. Imagine if I had installed Vista...

I am getting the new interface as of now. The logo in the upper right still says LABS though.

Nope, I'm afraid they've only bumped the threshold up a level of magnitude. I currently have 1000+ unread items.

OMG. I have search options in Google reader

Martin Porcheron [PersonRank 10]

Hehe, if you try searching for *.* it takes so long and then eventually causes a JS error.

They might want to fix that.

[Moved from "Google Reader Out of Beta" – Tony]

I've just noticed that Google Reader is out of beta... Did this happen a while ago and I just didn't notice?

The processing icon is no longer the bubbling chemical bottle, but the logo has yet to be updated.

I also noticed that on http://labs.google.com Reader has graduated.

Be careful, they change the date every year ;-)

PS : just now I just pressed the button "refresh" and I get the new interface :)

TOMHTML [PersonRank 10]

Well, they also made changes in the "Trends" tab.
New tabs : "Emailed" and "Read on mobile"

You remeber?

"100+ Items", "All Items (100+)"

Look closer since the new release with the Search Bar:
