I don't think it's for a nonproportional font. Just squint a little bit! I think it should resemble hand-written(?) script. |
Original? We talk about that (cars in ASCII) here 1 or 2 months ago. |
I don't know where is the post about that, but there are the pictures: http://blog-web-marketing.fr/Images/Eurobest/ASCII.jpg |
The car ones are quite good :P |
According to the comments on the blog Barry linked, there's now a punctuation filter that is causing ads with repetitive punctuation to get bumped down or off the page completely. |
That scale is a bit smaller than I normally work at when I do ascii art. Maybe if google ever starts doing full page ads they will play nice and do them in text. If that happens, and thats a really big if, then I will have to quit my day job and start doing a lot more ascii art. |
These ASCII Art Ads of SIXT Mietwagen are fake. Watching the background, you can see three Ads with ASCII Art, all with sixt.de as display-URL. Google would never deliver three ads of the same advertiser.
Actually the Google approval team would not accept these ASCII art ads.
And now I have to tell my customers that it does not make sense to thinking about ascii art texts... [sic!] |
