Ha just got the press release. |
WTF? on the video you can see they use Google Apps for that site : http://www.altostrat.com/ Screenshot: http://i42.tinypic.com/14xigy8.png
But if you don't add "www" you get... WOWW http://i43.tinypic.com/169ryav.png |
It needs an option to scale or zoom the image or page to show all. When an image larger than the screen is imported or objects are drawn outside the page, you can still scroll around using the window bars, but there is no easy way to scale or zoom out to see it all again. I noticed a little resize icon in the lower right corner when a new drawing is started. That helps somewhat, but can be easily obscured and difficult to locate once objects exceed the page boundaries. |
On our doc (cf @Luka's link) there are more than 130 (sometimes 200) people editing at the same time. Google Docs doesn't crash. I love it. :-) |
In the Document editor... there is no longer an option to view full screen or have the normal view (non fixed width page). Anyone else notice that? |
As far as the char by char edits in normal docs... it didn't seem to work when I tried it out with two other computers yesterday evening.
Jared Cherup: Both things you mention are still available. (FullScreen is called for ages "Hide controls" and you can tick of page view) |
You can now force the usage of new editors : http://docs.google.com/settings?hl=en
Here are the limitations of new editors : https://docs.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=176442 |
