By default?
Because I have module called "collapse modules" which already do that Thanks for the news Arun ;-) |
Nope, it is new. no plugins needed. Nice find Arun |
One of the thing I have been waiting for |
I remember an IG module which allow you to create tabs in IG ;-)

A native implementation would be much neater though. I mean that look a bit fiddly. NetVibes does it well I think. |
I like NetVibes too, but i think some of their controls are a bit too small. Would be nice to see Google go more along NetVibes approach. |
Tabs? do you think, that they are necessery? In fact I really wonder whether people will be able to use ONE personalized (not personalized, in fact it personalizable!) page, so do they need more? |
I am using the Tab module. I just have too many modules selected to fit them on one page, so I have divided them onto three tabs, sorted by topic.
My biggest complaint is it always reloads my first tab when I go back to my homepage. It doesnt remember what tab I was on. It is also a little slow to load, which is understandable as it has to load all my modules. I hope a native solution can just load the first tab, and then pre-load the next tabs in the background while I am working with the first tab.

Looks like the links in the top left of the google page have changed a bit as well. |
Tabs by google aren't far behind: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/66781.html |
Hi Matthew,
I see you are the author of the Tabs Module. Many thanks for it. I have been getting a lot of use out of it. I see you have several other modules I need to check out.
