Heh, I've seen stuff that before. Goofs like that are funny (unless you really need the information that's supposed to be there). Isn't there a site dedicated to it? |

Hi there, i my company explores this kind of advertising medim in europe. What do you guys think of this kind of advertising? what kind of content does it have down there? (when it's not on windows error!) thanks in advance – great blog |

Speaking for our local subway displays, that's not an advertising medium per se... you have news bits, quiz games and stuff. It's completely boring, but more entertaining than when you have nothing to read at all :) |

Do you know the company name? thanks |

Francisco, if you click on the image you'll see the large version, which has the name "Degen" on it along with a phone number (precede with +49-711 for this city). |

But it's not a BSOD. Windows is running fine. The application crashed. |

Yeah, my pic is no BSOD, I only mentioned this 'cause it's a nice keyword to find more pics... |

I've taken a few of those as well:

This place is also frequented by Steve Ballmer (and to a lesser extent Bill Gates and Paul Allen):

Nice.. catch Philipp.. BSOD have become so common.. MSFT needs to do something because their OS is all over these displays!! |
Stu | 17 years ago # |
/pd, it ain't a BSOD, some non-Microsoft application gacked.
I'm curious what it is, do you have a more detailed pic, Phillip? |
Philipp Lenssen | 17 years ago # |
Stu, the large version when you click on it is pretty much the best I have. I have a couple of pics but they all aren't too clear. This is my cell phone camera which is OK for a cell phone but not good compared to real cameras... |

Ok I stand corrected . its an;t a BSOD ..!!
but the app certainly looks like its looked stacked onto an NT box |
